The ECCOFLOW project aims at designing, building and testing in the European grid a unique device for electricity networks:
a superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) based on YBCO coated conductor.

NEWS : Eccoflow FCL device finished ready to be tested

NEW: A Workshop will be held in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) on September 20, 2013 about the Eccoflow project with the visit of the SFCL under operation in the ENDESA's substation and to exchange about the SFCL possibilities in grids as well as the requirements from the utilities and their needs.
